Yahoo announced that Robert Rodriguez has started filming on Machete. Remember that "preview" from Grindhouse? I am totally stoked about this news. When I saw Grindhouse, I walked out wanting to see Machete already. And the cast is ca-razy: Danny Trejo, Jeff Fahey and Cheech Marin are joined by, get this, Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Michelle Rodriguez, Don Johnson and Lindsay Lohan.

I heard about de Niro in Ralph's Showbiz Beat and I was all like, "Whaaaat?" As long as Machete is better than either part of Grindhouse, I'm in.
The only bad thing is Lindsay Lohan. Other than that, I can't wait!
I am hoping Lohan's character meets a violent demise early into the movie and thus limits her screen time.
